ITF, BJK Cup and Davis Cup join forces to support severe flood relief in Spain

The International Tennis Federation, Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge and Davis Cup express their deepest sympathy to the victims and support for the communities and families affected by the devastating floods in Spain and its regions

ITF, BJK Cup and Davis Cup join forces to support severe flood relief in Spain
In a show of solidarity, both tournaments are supporting the relief and recovery efforts and calling for donations to the Spanish Red Cross, Cruz Roja. BJK Cup Tournament Director Conchita Martinez Davis Cup Tournament Director Feliciano Lopez voiced their support on behalf of both competitions and launched an appeal to the global tennis community. 
  
“Our hearts go out to the communities and families in Spain affected by the recent severe flooding. The BJK Cup and Davis Cup are coming together to support the relief and recovery efforts. Together with the International Tennis Federation, we are donating to the Cruz Roja, and we encourage all our fans and followers to contribute as well. Your donations will help provide essential aid and support on the ground to those most in need. Together, we can make a difference.

David Haggerty, President of the ITF, underscored the urgency of the appeal: “This is a humanitarian crisis and the ITF supports Cruz Roja in their mission to aid those affected by this disaster in Spain. Tennis is more than a sport – it’s a global family and we have close connections with Valencia and its communities which have been the hardest hit.
