The BJK Cup Finals dates and match schedule will remain unchanged running from 13-20 November 2024. The Davis Cup Final 8 match schedule and dates will also remain unchanged, taking place from 19-24 November 2024.

The relocation was required by the event’s host partner, Junta de Andalucía, and supported by the City and Diputacion of Málaga. The Billie Jean King Cup, formerly the Fed Cup, will join with the Davis Cup to create a unique, world-class fortnight of international team tennis at Malaga’s renowned Palacio de Deportes Jose Maria Martin Carpena Arena.

Malaga, with its outstanding facilities and vibrant community of sports fans, ensures the events’ continuity and creates a unique opportunity for tennis fans to experience the world’s best women’s and men’s players competing for their respective national teams to be crowned world champions in one city over two weeks.

“Our priority is to ensure the Billie Jean King Cup Finals continue seamlessly as the most exciting and unique women’s team tennis tournament on the 2024 calendar,” said Ilana Kloss, Chair of Billie Jean King Cup Ltd. “Malaga, just 130 miles from Sevilla, has been a fantastic host of the Davis Cup Final 8 since 2022 and we know that its world-class facilities and passionate fans will help create another unique and memorable world championship.”

We are confident that this move will uphold the prestigious legacy of both tournaments and look forward to hosting the world’s best 20 teams, their players and fans to Malaga this November.”

“With great responsiveness from all local institutions, together with ITF and BJKC Limited, we have a unique opportunity to host the two main international tennis competitions in the same venue, something that has never happened before, and which will once again project the Andalusia brand as a host of major sporting events.” said Arturo Bernal, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport of Junta de Andalucía.

“We are thrilled to host the Billie Jean King Cup Finals,” said Francisco del Torre, Mayor of Málaga. “Our city is passionate about tennis and committed to delivering an unforgettable tournament for everyone involved. Hosting these back-to-back events is a tremendous honour that will bring unprecedented excitement to our city.”
